A Health Camp held in the CAG office in October 2023 revealed many underlying health issues among our own contractual staff. It also brought forth the inadequacy of their knowledge about health issues and limited access to further medical treatment and guidance. It is an established fact that with timely screening of diseases, treatment and counselling, Health Camps can help in advancement of the quality of health and life of the vulnerable people among us. Working on this principle, we at The Indian Audit and Accounts Service Officers’ Wives Association under the able guidance of our patron, Dr. Mrs. Smita Murmu, organised a health camp for the outsourced staff of CAG office. The Health Camp was conducted in two phases of 3 days each
The first health camp was from 27th to 29th April, 2024. The total number of beneficiaries covered in this phase were 400. The second phase of the health camp was organised from 20th June to 22nd June 2024. camp was organised. Around 350 staffs benefitted from this camp. The primary goal of this comprehensive health camp was not only to perform health check-ups but to instil a sense of health consciousness in employees. By educating them on various health-related issues and the importance of regular screening. It was aimed to empower the staff with the knowledge necessary to lead healthier lives. This focus on preventive care and health education highlights the fact that need of the hour is to not just address but to prevent health issues through awareness. Expand [+]
